"I've been zwifting for around 15hours…"
I've been zwifting for around 15hours now,
Travelled roughly 250 miles and climbed approximately 8000 metres and have enjoyed every minute of it.
The idea of zwift is quite simply genius. It's made cycling a lot more accessible, for new cyclists as well as veterans.
I used to cycling 800-1000 miles a month, however getting married, having a baby and my business becoming a lot busier all impacted my cycling. However having the option to come home, have some family time, eat dinner together etc and know that if I want to go for a ride I literally have to walk to the garage, throw on a bib and I'm good to go has gotten me riding a lot more than I otherwise would have. No messing around thinking "where am I going to go" "it's getting late" "it's getting dark" just jump on, press ride, off you go.
It's also so easy to set up that you would really struggle to not be able to get it right. Download the free app, and the companion app as well if you want it.. create an account (you get 25km + 1 week free) turn your smart trainer on and rotate the pedals, it will auto connect via Bluetooth... That's it. You are zwifting. It couldn't be any easier.
I honestly can't understand how people have complained about the app/service etc, it can only be used error. There are plenty of Reddit forums and YouTube channels detailing everything you could ever want to know about zwift.
If you've been thinking of making a suffer station or pain cave, it's definitely worth it for making riding more regular again... And always in the dry!
